Review
This wonderful DVD really helps students get prepared for a physical science test. What makes this DVD so useful is that kids love it! They want to watch it, and the concepts are explained in a way that makes them easy to grasp at any level. I also like the bonus section that allows students to practice scoring high on a physical science test, using questions like the ones they will actually see on a standardized test. –Jeannette D., teacher

My children loved the content of the DVD and how it is presented. The animation is great and communicates the content in an effective and interesting manner. I especially like that the introduction to the DVD first gives a lesson on safety in the lab. This is a terrific educational product. –Reviewer, iParenting Media Awards, 2008 Greatest Products
If your child enjoys science and wants to explore the subject outside of the classroom, or if you just want them to brush up on topics being covered in class, then this DVD is for you. As you join the cleverly animated Marko the Pencil and his friend the talking light bulb, you will learn about the scientific method: Question, Gather, Hypothesize, Experiment, Conclude and Report. (Parents: You knew that already, right?) Then it’s on to the Matter Learning Center for lessons on melting and boiling points, what is conductivity, color, density, hardness, magnetism and much more. –Review from The National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval 2009
Physical Science is an educational DVD designed to teach young people about lab safety, the scientific method, and a wide range of basic topics covered in any physical science test ranging from the parts of atoms to molecules and states of matter, understanding magnetism and electricity, motion and gravity, and much more. Three-dimensional computer-animation of playful characters host this enjoyable viewing experience, which features a special bonus section where viewers can practice earning high scores on a multiple-choice physical science test. Correlated to National Science Educational Standards, Physical Science is highly recommended as a supplementary resource for science classrooms as well as for middle school library and public library collections, especially in this modern age which needs young people to take an interest in science more than ever before! –Midwest Book Review Childrens Bookwatch DVD Shelf
